Playstation2 Password / Code HELP

Hello…
I have a play station 2 game station I bought from a Marine headed off over sea’s…
Trouble is I cant get the password he set it to, to change the parental advisory to change the game to a different level, and or watch DVD’s…!
I cant get in touch with the Marine, so Im stuck with a playstation 2 & no password…
Is there any way to reset this password code, or how could I set it to a password I will have and remember…?
Any help would be most appreciated…

I found this with a little FAQ searching. Let me know if it works:
” The Parental Control can be accessed even if you have forgotten your
password. Press the Select button and enter ‘7444′ to delete the old password.”

Try going to the Sony website and contacting them, giving them the serial number
of the PS2. They should be able to help you reset this.
