Game Data Corrupted?

The other day I wanted to play Gran-Turismo 4 on PS2. The problem was it wouldn’t load my game. It kept telling me that my Game Data was Corrupted and kept giving me that screen. I don’t would have happened to have caused that but I’m always careful with my game systems and my electronics. I’m really upset because as I’m sure many of you know it takes a long time to get anywhere in GT4. I had some pretty good cars and had worked fairly fair. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this or anything I can do? What if anything can done?

I’ve never heard of a corrupted save getting fixed or un-corrupted. A corrupted card can be reformatted, but a game save is just gone. Your best bet is to download a game save, or use a cheat to get to where you were before, and then do your best runs to try and get your stats back. It’s better than starting from scratch anyway.

Yup. Greg’s right. That save info is gone now. You can’t get it back. It’s
happened to me a few times, and yes it’s very unfortunate.
